STARS IN HEAVEN
Why would you care if all the stars in Heaven fell into the earth?
It’s an old and lonely world now anyway
But I wouldn’t dare waste a moment from my death back to my birth
Every breath we get’s a miracle I say
You guide my vessel, you stars in Heaven
Over me, are you all of me now?
Brave suns awaiting, lights radiating
Inside me, are you outta me, yeah?
Oh tender morning, on this glad dawn
And all my earthly sorrows do I leave
Bodies assembling, bright spirit trembling
The sun and moon like gold and silver weave
Swept down the wind I, hasty
From my desires they chase me
Orbs and wonders fill my gaze
In passion stars are falling
Heavenly voices calling
Set my weary heart ablaze
And every part of me dies
Why would you care if all the stars in Heaven fell into the earth?
It’s an old and lonely world now anyway
But I wouldn’t dare waste a moment from my death back to my birth
Every breath we get’s a miracle I say
I wonder why the mysteries are held inside
Her burning eye? How wistfully from me they hide
Then stranger notions get a hold on me
The sun is such a tiny star now after all
Why would you care if all the stars in Heaven fell into the earth?
It’s an old and lonely world now anyway
But I wouldn’t dare waste a moment from my death back to my birth
Every breath we get’s a miracle I say
